As the kit is general in nature it can be used to charge various battery types, as long as the requirements to charging voltage and currents are within the output range that the kit offers (1.2V to 38V, max 5A).The kit can be used to develop applications such as battery chargers, battery backup, Un-interruptable power supply, switch mode power supply and other.
