鸿海1.68亿美元再投墨西哥！AI服务器产能紧急扩张，北美市场争夺战升温

8月25日，鸿海发布公告称，其新加坡子公司Cloud Network Technology Singapore将向FII AMC MEXICO S. DE R.L. DE C.V.投资1.68亿美元。这已经是鸿海八月份第二次注资墨西哥子公司，本月中旬刚刚完成了一笔4500万美元的投资。

频繁的资金注入背后，是鸿海为满足北美市场对AI服务器爆发式需求，降低成本和最大限度降低贸易摩擦风险而采取的紧急产能扩张行动。

墨西哥是鸿海旗下工业富联（FII）的AI服务器重点生产基地之一，与英伟达合作建设的AI工厂已于今年初投产。

事实上，鸿海在墨西哥的战略布局早已开始。2024年10月，工业富联通过墨西哥子公司以约9.24亿墨西哥比索的价格，受让了母公司鸿海精密旗下公司在墨西哥哈利斯科州特拉克帕克工业园区的不动产改良资产。此次资产收购包括厂房改良资产及相关设备共659项，目的是快速扩充工业富联在墨西哥的服务器产能，实现就近生产与供货。

当然，墨西哥只是鸿海北美制造走廊的一环。2025年6月，鸿海代子公司Foxconn Assembly LLC公告，取得美国德州休斯敦2座厂房租赁使用权，总面积60.16万平方英尺。

同时，工业富联通过子公司鸿佰科技投资1.42亿美元，在休斯顿取得86.34英亩土地和约101万平方英尺厂房的所有权。

鸿海轮值CEO杨秋瑾在法说会上强调：“AI服务器强劲需求一直没有改变，而且还在持续加强。几个大型CSP（云服务提供商）的资本支出展望都在持续上调，再加上各国政府的主权AI项目也陆续展开，为满足快速攀升的市场需求，鸿海正在积极扩建产能。”

据鸿海透露，其第二季集团AI服务器业务年增幅度超过六成，预期第三季AI服务器营收将年增超过170%，其中机柜出货季对季表现更是高达三倍。

鸿海财务长黄德才在近期公司法说会上指出：“今年上半年鸿海资本支出相较去年同期增长约22%，公司2025年的资本支出成长目标维持在20%以上的计划。”

Hon Hai Invests Another $168 Million in Mexico! AI Server Capacity Expansion in Full Swing, Competition in North American Market Heats Up

On August 25, Hon Hai announced that its Singapore subsidiary, Cloud Network Technology Singapore, will invest $168 million in FII AMC MEXICO S. DE R.L. DE C.V. This marks the second capital injection into its Mexican subsidiary this month, following a $45 million investment made just mid-August.

Behind these frequent capital infusions is Hon Hai’s urgent effort to expand production capacity to meet the explosive demand for AI servers in the North American market, reduce costs, and minimize the risks associated with trade friction.

Mexico is one of the key production bases for Hon Hai’s subsidiary, Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII), for AI servers. An AI factory built in collaboration with NVIDIA has already commenced operations earlier this year.

In fact, Hon Hai’s strategic layout in Mexico began much earlier. In October 2024, FII, through its Mexican subsidiary, acquired improved real estate assets from its parent company, Hon Hai Precision, in the Tlajomulco de Zú?iga Industrial Park, Jalisco, Mexico, for approximately 924 million Mexican pesos. This acquisition included 659 items of factory improvement assets and related equipment, aimed at rapidly expanding FII’s server production capacity in Mexico to enable localized production and supply.

Of course, Mexico is just one part of Hon Hai’s North American manufacturing corridor. In June 2025, Hon Hai, acting on behalf of its subsidiary Foxconn Assembly LLC, announced the acquisition of leasing rights for two factory buildings in Houston, Texas, with a total area of 601,600 square feet.

At the same time, FII, through its subsidiary Ingrasys Technology, invested $142 million to acquire ownership of 86.34 acres of land and approximately 1.01 million square feet of factory space in Houston.

Hon Hai’s rotating CEO, Young Liu, emphasized during an earnings call: "The strong demand for AI servers has not changed and is only continuing to grow. Several large CSPs (cloud service providers) have been consistently revising their capital expenditure outlooks upward, and sovereign AI projects from various governments are also being rolled out. To meet the rapidly rising market demand, Hon Hai is actively expanding its production capacity."

According to Hon Hai, its AI server business saw a year-on-year increase of over 60% in the second quarter, with AI server revenue expected to grow by more than 170% year-on-year in the third quarter. Cabinet shipments are projected to triple quarter-on-quarter.

Hon Hai’s CFO, David Huang, pointed out during a recent earnings call: "Hon Hai’s capital expenditure in the first half of this year increased by approximately 22% compared to the same period last year. The company’s capital expenditure growth target for 2025 remains at over 20%."
